If I Were A Colour…

It would be a sort of bilious green. With some purple.
I’ve just got back from a five-day jaunt in Edinburgh (it would have been less if Ryanair hadn’t gone all petulent over flight timings) watching the rugby with some French friends.
It was fun.
I do know how much beer we drank, but I am sworn to secrecy.
I’m too old for this sort of thing.
Which is not necessarily a reason to stop doing it.

Sounds Lots of Fun, Jon, and no doubt worth the Green.
As a Youth-person, I used to get into similar state too often, and ridiculously, it happened as a Decrepit-person about a year ago when I forgot to do the Water-Alternating.
I’d forgotten the appalling room-turning, and desperate need to close your eyes but You Can’t because of the even Worse room-turning.
Am determined to remain Soppy Pink now.

I see tricolores when drinking with French friends.

Ah yes DD – the dreaded helicopter effect. Nasty that.
Fly – I know. I mean, given the way the Scots were playing the result shoul have been about 9-40. They seemed to have forgotten about the wings. Patterson was spitting nails.
CI – but which three colours?

Which tricolores, Jon? With my Tritanopia?

They’ll have to drop ‘Flower of Scotland’ and turn to Burns
‘Scots wa hae…’
the bit about gory bed rather than victory fits the bill better than false triumphalism.
